busy, busy, busy

Monday morning. Again. I don’t know how these weeks go so fast. Well this week is going to be a very busy week for me… lots of long days. Usually I work 10-6:15 …which means I don’t get home from work until after 6:30… However this week I have a lot of meetings and craziness going on.

Tomorrow all the volunteers at Kids in Motion have to go to the board meeting at 8am so all the board members can meet us. I cannot remember the last time I woke up before 8am. So, hopefully tonight won’t be too crazy so I can get some sleep.

Wednesday I have a meeting early … before work too and Thursday, well, a meeting after work. Needless to say, I will be ready for some surfing and beach next weekend!

This past weekend Alisha and I went to Cocoa Beach, our beach of choice ☺ it was a beautiful day. There is this nice little bar/restaurant right on the beach where Alisha and I had lunch and a beer while watching the Packers lose to the Redskins. It was great. Last-last weekend I broke a surfboard in half … totally (kind of) not my fault- the board didn’t have a leash so it got taken in a wave and crashed into shore. The rental place wanted to charge me $50!!! for the damage and I said “No way” and slightly got upset with them. This weekend I was afraid to go back in to their shop to get a surfboard, but…well, I didn’t have to pay $50.

Back to work for me! Hopefully I can find more time to update this blog more regularly, it’s been a long while!

P.S. I miss all my Wisconsinites ☺ can’t wait to visit sometime in the near future!
